Japanese electronics giant Toshiba on Monday said it will launch the first liquid crystal display 3D television that does not require users to wear special glasses. Toshiba will offer 20-inch and 12-inch Regza GL1 Series sets in Japan from the end of December, the company said. China on Friday celebrated 61 years of communist rule with the launch of its second lunar probe - the next step in its ambitious programme to become the second country to put a man on the moon.
