China police free 24 from brick kiln in latest slave scandalBeijing (AFP) May 31, 2010 Police in southwestern China said Monday they had freed 24 people forced to work at a brick kiln - the second such rescue in a week in a nation rocked by a huge slave labour scandal in 2007.
