Yet another media report from China has confirmed the basics of their latest group of astronauts. Five men and two women are being trained for Shenzhou missions. In keeping with China's typical policy of secrecy, we don't know their names or faces yet, but analysts are making educated guesses from previously disclosed lists of candidates. A French researcher has suggested an aerial map-making technique could be a valuable tool to show where oil from a giant spill is washing ashore in the Gulf of Mexico. European air traffic controllers said there would be about 500 fewer flights taking to the skies on Monday, as Portuguese authorities said Lisbon airport re-opened a day before the pope flies in.
