Obama trims US space ambitions Washington (AFP) Jan 30, 2010 Facing budgetary constraints, President Barack Obama will scale back US space ambitions, abandoning plans to return to the moon by 2020 and confining NASA to lower orbits for years to come. Repairing Haiti port to take 8-10 weeks: US military Washington (AFP) Jan 28, 2010 US engineers will need eight to 10 weeks to repair a pier at the Haitian capital's crucial port after aftershocks knocked it out of operation, a US general said on Thursday.
