Russia launches military satellite: report
Moscow (AFP) May 22, 2009
Russia successfully launched Friday a military satellite from its Plesetsk cosmodrome, Russian news agencies reported. The Meridian communications satellite was put into orbit by a Soyuz-2 rocket, the RIA Novosti news agency cited as saying the spokesman for the Russian military space forces, Alexei Zolotukhin.
