SkyTrac Systems Adds Another Helicopter Fleet

SkyTrac Systems has been selected to provide satellite communication and flight following systems for the helicopter fleet operated by the Ontario-based electrical utility company Hydro One.

Hydro One will equip its fleet of AS320 B2, AS350 B3 and B206 L3 helicopters with SkyTrac's Iridium-based systems for voice, data and AFF.

Hydro One, through its Helicopter Services Group, conducts power line inspection and maintenance over 28,000 kilometers of transmission lines, covering some of Canada's most rugged and isolated terrain.

Spidertracks To Distribute Products Through Cessna Dealers

New Zealand-based Spidertracks has announced an agreement with Cessna Aircraft Company to have its new Iridium-based automatic flight following (AFF) products distributed through Cessna's global network of 360 parts and service centers.
